The Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ expands up to the north to town called Burnet. This part of the lake is deeper than the Llano side and great for boaters. There are many attractions along the way including Longhorn Cavern and State Park, The Vanishing Texas River Cruise, Spider Mountain, Inks Lake State Park and local wineries. Head to downtown Burnet to the Historic Square to enjoy some local shopping, or stop by their market days. Burnet is also home to the Bluebonnet Festival which draws more than 35,000 visitors throughout the course of the weekend.
